George Foltz was a engineer at Chevrolet to 1970 when they closed it down.
He was building engines for Can Am and racing.

Yep, based on the lack of original broach marks, restamp from builder.

What is the date on this block? 2 bolt or 4 bolt?

Ive found this block in a container and it has been storage there since mid 70s.
Bore is 4,375. ;)
